It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of a friend and former scrapbook store owner. Mary Ann Hodgeson, the original owner of Scrapbook Heaven in St. George died this morning (Wed June 10th) from a heart attack. I know that many of her customers were my customers, so I hope you will not mind me using this forum to pass on this information.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 15th from 11am to 1pm followed by a service at Forward Baptist church in Cambridge
I was just so shocked when I heard this earlier today, and still cannot fathom how such a thing could happen. Mary Ann was a very special person, and anyone who knew here was blessed by her friendship, her sense of humor, her kindness, and her thoughtfulness. She will certainly be missed, but I'm sure she will live on in the memories (and hearts) of all who knew her.

Oh, I am so shocked to hear of this news. I honestly am saddened by this tragic news. Mary Ann was a beautiful person, full of life and she had so much love for everyone she met. She always had a kind word, loved to share stories and laugh, and most importantly, she was all about family. I truly felt blessed to have called her my friend. She will truly be missed. My heart goes out to John and the kids. May God bless them during this tragic time.
