Was this a familiar sight to anyone this weekend? When I arrived at the store this morning there was a lot of water in the back room, the washroom and the crop area. The carpets were sopping, but I was smiling and singing as I mopped it up because not one piece of inventory got wet, and nothing was ruined. Yes, the carpet has a little smell, but nothing a carpet cleaner can't fix. So if you found yourself wading in water this weekend due to the storms, I hope you'll be able to still find something to smile and sing about. Life is full of blessings, we just have to open our eyes to them. I think scrapbooking sometimes helps clarify our vision. Don't you?
You must have felt completely sick to see all that water and not know if anything was damaged! Glad to hear that you didn't lose anything. Do you have a dehumidifier? You might want to run one in the store for a few days to take the moisture out of the air (to avoid future problems with dampness). I have one in my basement that I could spare for a day or two if you want to borrow it, it's not that big, but it's better than nothing! Let me know.
